Terms of use — Fortify

1. Not a medical service

Fortify is a wellness and personal-growth app. It is not a medical device, therapeutic service, or healthcare product. Content within the app is for informational and self-improvement purposes only — not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you are in a mental-health crisis, please reach out to a licensed professional or 988.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18 to create a Fortify account. You're responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, threaten other users, or abuse the community spaces.

3. The community

Community and buddy features are built on mutual care. Do not use them to harass, dox, or pressure other users. Do not post content that would be unlawful, hateful, or designed to shame someone for a setback. Reports from three members automatically hide a post pending review.

4. Your content

Your journal, check-ins, setback reflections, and messages are yours. We don't claim ownership. You grant Fortify a non-exclusive, revocable license to store and display your content to you, and (for community posts only) to the cohort you've chosen to participate in — strictly for the purpose of operating the service.

5. Availability and changes

We run Fortify as carefully as we can but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update features, pricing, or these terms; material changes will be announced in-app with reasonable notice.

6. Liability

Fortify is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fortify's total liability arising out of your use of the service is limited to the amount you have paid Fortify in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim (or zero, if you've paid nothing).

7. Mentorship moderation

Mentorship chats are scanned for a small list of high-risk phrases. When a phrase matches, a moderator may review the flagged message and the recent thread context. Reviews are logged. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
